Faye Levy's International Chicken Cookbook Reviews
This cookbook serves as a decent introduction to recipes from cuisines around the world. The recipes feel modified and not very authentic to their respective cuisines, but I feel the accommodations the author has made do make them more accessible both in terms of ingredients and flavor profiles. I appreciate that the book covers common cooking techniques and provides a section on sauces and marinades to complement the recipes. Ultimately, though, of a book of about 300 recipes, there were only 15 recipes I wanted to prepare at home.
This is a pretty book, but most of the recipes were too spicy for me.
