Angel & Faith: Daddy Issues, Part 4 Reviews
Better, better. Made up for the last, weaker, issue. I think it'd really be better if I read all of these in succession, rather than issue by issue, but I can't wait. I'll re-read them all when the 'season' is finished probably.
This was much better than the last issue. While the pace could have been a bit slower it tied up the current plot nicely, while setting the tone for future issues and the Druscilla spin-off series out soon.
After what happened in the previous issue, I was expecting to be disappointed with this one. I can gladly say that that was not the case. True things happened and then were quickly undone, but it was done well and so makes it interesting. I really hope we haven't seen the last of Dru!
Here's what I learned from angel. Consistency pays off. I love that he never doubts his conviction. It's what makes him specialWhat happened to Drusilla was really sad. I think Angel should have just let her be..somehow.."I used to write poems to the sound of their screams.."
I don't think Angel's going to pull this off, but it'll be really, really interesting if he does.
