TIME Paul McCartney: The legend rocks on Reviews
Fits somewhere between a fan magazine and a serious biography about McCartney (also on my to-read list). Tons of detail during the Beatles years (70+ pages) and only 15 pages on the years since 1970? I guess that's what the general public wants to read about!Always been my favorite Beatle. Love that he still enjoys performing live and exploring new sounds (Nirvana reunion, album with Diana Krall, etc.) Most of this book was a review for me, not much new information. Still sad to read about his friendship with John breaking apart. I wonder if the world will ever see another songwriting duo like them ever again. Quick read.
