Do not expect this to be a juicy tell-all autobiography. Disappointingly thin on details from the actress herself and a co-author who spent more than 20 years as her friend and conservator. Contains lots of wonderful photos, but the text surrounding the photos could have made a barely magazine article length. Book clocks in at 167 pages, including the index.I'm glad I read it as I had not read anything about Ida Lupino. Now that I know the outline of her story, I look forward to reading more about her.
