Early ChapterIt's Spring! And Ducky has sprung. His friends, out of concern, follow him around as he haphazardly tries to do his work. This is a bright and cheerful tale but it lacks some organization which makes it a little confusing in a couple of spots. I don't think it is a good early reader as I am not sure a child is going to feel connected to what they are reading. As a read aloud it works pretty well and the illustrations are very cute. In a classroom setting it is a great way to introduce the season of spring.

This somewhat funny picture book became HYSTERICAL in the last few pages. Duck is having a mixed up day and doing his chores all wrong. Poor cat and bird are having an even busier day fixing all the mix ups. However, there are some things that just can not be fixed when they have been completed. What will happen to the kittens?!??!! If you want to know you have to read this quirky small picture book.

A cute and playful read. I loved the twist between the duck and his two friends. Very much like Amelia Bedilia. Kids will adore this little book.

This is a silly story. I think that they kids will really get into the story because of the silly mix ups Max does on the first day of spring.
