They manage to find Cooper’s mother and her tribe—but once there, Keira has to confront a beautiful young Torch woman, Tua, who falls in love with Cooper and is determined to make him her own. Keira is forced to face danger alone at a club in Chicago, and to go back home and face her family and her old high school—where she realizes that she is no longer welcome. Worse, the Shadow Vampires won’t let them rest. They hunt them down, and enlist their most gorgeous soldier—the teenage Percy—to seduce Keira’s sister, Amanda, and have her lead them to her. Will he have to betray his tribe?Keira and Cooper, too, are falling more deeply in love with each other—but life circumstances seem determined to pry them apart. Will their love withstand the test? Will Keira find out who she really is? And will the Shadows hunt them down before they can each fulfill their mission?...

This book was amazing and confusing at the same time. It was very jumpy trying to accomplish a lot in one book. You delve into Cooper and Kiera's world fully but are taken aback by all the twist and turns that accompany the book. I love Kiera more and more in this book and the strength that she has. I am quite mad at all vampires the shadows and torches because they are both closed minded fools set in there ways. I love Amanda and Percy together because I know they are poised to be the greatest threat to Cooper and Kiera. Both Cooper and Percy were born at the same time just like Kiera and Amanda and that has to mean something. I love that Cooper and Kiera are to give birth to the Electric Child. I wonder why his mother never thought of it because the Electric Child will rebalance the earth and that is what she wants so to basically throw Kiera out was probably the worst thing she could do. I really want the next book and would love to have an update from the author about its progress.

And the series continues. Keira continues her journey, finding out her true identity; she is one with the Indigo Children. She has found her love, Cooper, or so she thinks... (I'm not spoiling!) Her quest is just beginning to defeat the Shadow Vampires and find her real family. The Shadows are beginning to hunt her down. Keira can't take it anymore, she needs to tell her sister. But she doesn't believe. She kicks her out, and Keira begins her long journey. In which Cooper is on his journey, too, to find the other half of his life, his mother. But does his mother except Keira? Or does Cooper find new love? Find out in "Touched (book #2 of the Shadow Vampires). Just like the first book, I instantly fell in love! The best dramatic love story. Ever. Just to add to it, family drama. I liked the book because of the drama, like I've mentioned about 1,000,000 times. And the shocking cliffhangers made me non-stop reading! Again, I recommend this to all people who love fiction, mystery, tragedy, romance and drama.

This book has the potential to be great, but as it is now there are still a lot of issues, just as I said with the first book.Once again the editing was horrible, better than the first book but there were even bracketed editors notes left in the published copy . Really?!?!With some re-working I think both of these books can be great. Overall the story line is very rushed, and because of that its to hard to get "into" the characters. There is a lot of jumping around, and again a lot of contradictions. One chapter ends with Percy knowing where Kiera is going but refusing to tell Senica, and in the next chapter Kiera is getting attacked at the new place by the shadows because Percy did tell them. Very hard to follow. Before the next book spend the extra time developing the plot, storyline, characters and for goodness sake take the time to have it proof read and edited properly. If you need help with that let me know, I would be happy to proof read and edit it correctly!

Compared to the first book, this one appears to be much better. The crinkled plot and confusion seemed to iron out, but it still isn't where it should be. With the first book Saved, I could see that Allegra Skye's plans for the book would move many, and she started out with great potential. I took the time to read the book from cover to cover, and it seemed as though the author rushed into it and didn't take the time to slowly develop the perfect story it could have been. As I said, the beginning was great, however, it kept crashing and burning with constant intensity. By the end, it was a complete mess with plot and ideas bouncing off all the walls. With that said, take some time to read the book and judge for yourself. Who knows, you might be part of the group that loves the series.

Found the books to be well written drawning into the story from the first chapter, the characters were well thought out, along with the story, and left you wanting to know what would happen next. The only thing i'm disappointed about is, Where is book 3??? Is there going to a be a book 3? Gutted as read both of these in a week hoping to get the next soon after and would you believe, its not been written! As its been nearly 2 years since the last one i'm guessing not. Shame really, very, very talented author

Please see my review of Saved, the first book of this series, because it fits this book too. More of the same plot discrepancies and lack of interesting interaction between characters. I know there had to be an editor involved but the ONLY sign I saw of one was an actual note to the author after a paragraph asking her to describe a location better. WHAT KIND OF EDITOR FORGETS TO REMOVE THEIR SUGGESTIONS FROM THE FINISHED PRODUCTS?!?!?

Frustrating...still saw lots of editing errors & the storyline was all over the place. There were so many discrepancies, that again, I considered just not finishing the book. If there's another book in this series I just don't think I could handle trying to read it. Which is just too bad, because I really think that this series has potential.

The story line in this series is really good. But the editing is horrid and attention to details leaves a lot to be desired. Although this book is marginally better than the first in terms of editing mistakes and flow, it still lacks the professional feel of a work for sale. Maybe the author should consider a second round of editing before publishing...

I can't believe I forced myself to finish this. Between the enormous plot holes, ridiculous lack of editing and some of the stupidest female characters I've ever seen develop, I can't fathom how this was ever published. I read it for free and I feel ripped off.

Could have used an editor. The grammar errors were very distracting.

Enjoyed the series but can find no trace of the third book (i.e. if/when it will be available). Book two ends on a cliff hanger really so I am really disappointed there is no third book.
