I really enjoyed this book, probably because I found Shannon so relatable. To me she seemed like a real person who I could be friends with. So she was self-absorbed sometimes and all woe is me, aren't a lot people, especially when they're 24/25? Although I did think Emma was wrong to want Blaine to be with them if they went out for a girls' night, which to her turned into a double date thing (this was said in passing btw). I know I wouldn't want my boyfriend with me if I wanted to hang out with my best friend. I thought Stephanie Rowe did a perfect job at balancing every element in the book and was very entertained throughout.(4.5 stars)

This was an easy entertaining read, but Shannon's constant whining about lawyers and the law profession turned me off a bit from the character. I couldn't connect with most of the characters; the one I liked the most was Van.I found the editing of this book to be very questionable. The author repeated phrases to the point where I found it irritating. For example, "He lifted a brow" was used three times in as many pages in one chapter, and I lost count of the number of times brows were lifted throughout the book. I was surprised at how unimaginative some of the writing was.

This is one of those train wrecks you just can't turn away from. I want to strangle the main character. And about 99% of the supporting cast. The woman is just "me me me me me," "whine whine whine whine whine," "I cant decide my true love, woe is me...." Good grief. It's one of those that you don't know how to place it - want to scratch the character's eyes out yet can't put it down.

After the same point being made about 50 times in the first 10 pages, I started skimming. After 25 pages of skimming, I read the last chapter and everything ended exactly like I expected. Saved myself an hour.

This was an easy, quick read. The characters were overall likeable and it was... easy. It's nice to read easy chick-lit that doesn't enrage you in the end because it ever tried to be anything else. You go into a book like this, and you get exactly what you expect. I appreciate that.

Not a lot of depth, but a fun little romance story. An overall enjoyable read.

I'm not a big romance reader, but Shannon's character delighted me. I felt she was more of a human with human problems than a damsel in distress, and she had a great sense of humor. I loved it!

I like her very conversational, slightly sarcastic writing style. The overall plot was predictable but the story was still very entertaining and fun to read.

Another perfect little bit of vacation/airplane fluff.
